I love the practice of speaking a blessing over the space.

I dont have a physical garden Im growing this year but the soil of my soul feels dry and dusty. I've felt the Spirit wanting to tend to it and hearing you speak about how after the soil is tilled and then cover crops sowed, it was showing me how He is tending to me.

Thank you for your beautiful words and always continuing to show up here and on Insta. I really appreciate your insight and perspective.

Powerful translation of your souls season of growth :-) Listening with the revelation of tending that is currently living through your experience is inspiring - a reminder that no matter where we are in our journey, we are being tended.

Nicely done! This dovetails well for me, as last week I interviewed a farmer who does a sage cleanse of his land before planting. He and I also discussed the forgotten wisdom of planting with the moon cycles.

And congratulations on your new garden space!

Today is the feast of St Isidore the Farmer and the 1st day of Rogationtide. We're going to process our garden and pray for a fruitful season. I was just flipping through books to find a prayer, & hadn't found any that seemed right. Started scrolling my Substack inbox instead, & saw your post. You've written such a lovely prayer! We'll be using it tonight as we "beat the bounds" and sprinkle holy water mixed in rain water on our soil. Thank you so much for writing and sharing your prayer!

That was awesome! I feel God is just waiting to grow things in our gardens; it's not just mud! Thank you for that reminder!

Beautiful imagery! Every act of planting is an act of faith: the precious seed disappears from our uncertain hand into the warm earth, and then -- nothing happens. Nothing we can see, that is. "Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." Lord of Miraculous Green indeed!
