I planted some early peas in a polytunnel about 10 days ago. Still waiting for them to put their heads up. But they a harbinger of spring. I grow early and late peas to try to have them as long as I can!
Mmmmm, peas! And their flowers are spectacular! They go through all those shades of pink and lavender and even blue, just amazing. Our only pea failures come from wildlife over-helping-themselves 🤣
For sure there is nothing wrong with an easy win every once in a while, a warm up, a shot in the arm, an infusion of confidence with a sweet reward! Gets the juices flowing with the confidence to roll on into the harder slog, with the momentum from the win column to carry us on through...yes!
