"Rejoice not over me, O my enemy;

when I fall, I shall rise;

when I sit in darkness,

the Lord will be a light to me." Micah 7:8

I think we need the darkness of winter to remember the source and delight of light.

I envy your faith. I struggle so hard with my own due to certain events and I’ve spent the last near-decade trying to reconcile it to no avail.

This was a refreshing read, it offered a glimpse of the type of uplifting perspective I lost so long ago.

Thank you for inspiring!

Whatever your journey is, friend, I'm glad you're here! Feel free to linger around here as long as you like. Believe me; you're not alone in doubts, questions, and anxieties. I'm sure there are others here who can relate, myself included.

Thank you for commenting!

We've likely all heard Israel Kamakawiw'ole sing his phenomenal songs (What a Wonderful World) of the sacred isles of Hawai'i. He rendered so well his near devotional love for these islands he felt were a prelude to Paradise. Kamalani too. You are finding your way. Belief truly is all. Believe it will work out & strangely an accommodation is very likely to occur.
