"Only Someone that almighty, that magnificent, can make Himself small enough to ride our exhaled breath" - love this - I know you are talking about the mundane, but it also makes me think of the micro/macro quantum universe that is, in my mind, the fabric of God's creation, through which Source becomes able to be felt and experience, as well as to feel and experience through Creation!

"For the parts of life we crop out. For the parts of life we hide when visitors come around." Ah, yes. Is it the sin of comparison that makes us pretend we're always on top of it all? True friendship comes with true transparency, I think. The best friends -- and there aren't enough of them -- are the ones we invite in without hesitation to enjoy a cup of coffee under the cobwebs, after we shove the laundry off the chair!

While attempting to clear some space on my tiny counter to engage in a two-hour cooking project, I had this thought about the white-gloved critics: I would rather be using my fleeting time downloading my hyperactive brain before I pass on, before passing on 80-years of my widely-varied experiences to younger folks, so that they might have a framework to help them make sense of their own missteps, with fewer repetitions of behaviors that led to remorse for my interference with the happiness of others.

It is good to see T.B.D and Holly R, two of the people I follow, have connected with this gentle writer who fearlessly shares her spiritual journeys with us all and invites us into her community of support.
