I love the invitation into the layers of reality that exist in our present moment experience. The reminder to BE IN presence and listen with the whispers of mystery that beckon our curiosity. Thank you for the gentle reminder to LISTEN with Wholeness and honor the depth of each moment.
I resonate with how you describe your anxiety as "running across hot coals." That quick step and rush is common when Im avoiding getting "burnt".
Thougg, most often when Im anxious about making a mistep I seem to resemble a nervous hummingbird, flitting from flower to flower for sustenance, never resting too long.( My flowers are hoards of different information resources.) But glory, the beauty to be held when one stops and sits, feeling safe.
Taking time to slow down and take really does make the space sacred, as you were saying. I love this reminder. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment, and for the link to 🍁Leaves, Ms Reid. I am enjoying browsing through your insightful posts. I am glad I found your little corner out in the vastness of Substack land.
I tend to rush when I feel anxious too. Misery, uncertainty, or a very uncomfortable challenge. Doubt kills enthusiasm. Quite annoying sometimes, haha.

I'm still thinking about last week's discussion. I look forward to your devotionals. They are a wonderful way to start off the week.
